Ilona Molnar or Aunt 'Ilcsi' as she's affectionately known, is the genius behind Ilcsi's unique skin care range. Now a grand dame of 80+ years she's spent her life devoted to one pursuit – beautiful, radiant skin.
Growing up learning all the natural methods used for every health and beauty problem, inspired Aunt Ilcsi back in the 1950s to create and develop her very effective and versatile products rich in fruits, herbs, vegetables and flowers.
Ilcsi's philosophy is based on simplicity combined with natural ingredients for long-term results.
Aunt Ilcsi and her son, Ferenc Molnar, founded Ilcsi Beautifying Herbs Ltd in 1984.
Aunt Ilcsi has also earned international accolades and has been a regular speaker at international aesthetic congresses including several CIDESCO World Congresses. Aunt Ilcsi still plays an important role in education, product development and the search for more solutions.

What is it that makes the Ilcsi® (pronounced 'il-chi') range so sought after and the results so great?
Immediately after harvest, all plant ingredients are formulated and processed under specially-controlled conditions that maintain the vitality of the natural key cosmetic ingredients while eliminating bacteria.
Due to the uniquely rich Hungarian soil and a climate perfectly suite for agriculture, the herbs, vegetables and fruits are very rich in key ingredients and aromatic agents. All 70 different botanical ingredients are organically grown, hand harvested, hand selected and lovingly hand made in very small batches.
Some of our Ilcsi® skincare products are blended with the invigorating and revitalising thermal waters of Hungary's Lake Hajduszoboszlo. This subterranean thermal lake is crammed with rare minerals with qualities which have proven to be excellent for dry skin. Aunt Ilcsi also uses the mud and algae from their unique and rich water source in some of the products.
Due to the high content of natural ingredients, it is best to store your Ilcsi® products in the fridge to maintain their efficacy.

The Power of Ilcsi®
In 2004, Ilcsi® was chosen to be a member of the world renown ‘Superbrands' organization – only 400 brands were selected out of 10,000 considered. The achievement was repeated in 2007 with Ilcsi® again being awarded the title of Superbrand.
Aunt Ilcsi was honored in 1990 by the Hungarian Government with the Small Cross Order of Merit for her achievement in the usage of herbs in the cosmetic industry and for her work as one of the leading business women of Hungary.
On 20th August 1999, Aunt Ilcsi was again honored with the Small Cross Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic for her attempts in disseminating and popularising the use of herbs within cosmetics and for her achievements as a business woman.
On 11th November 2007 at Beauty Hair and Spa Exhibition, Aunt Ilcsi also received the Beauty Forum Professional Award as recognition of her work in Hungary in the cosmetic profession
